The new sidewalks at the school allow children direct access to the street and are being used to skate board and bike down and go directly into the street.

Letters were sent to ISD199 regarding children skate boarding and riding bikes into traffic from the two sidewalks that adjoin Carmen. A gate has been added at one sidewalk.
